Speaking of the main functionality, this keyboard has blue Cherry MX switches and I love the sound of clicking on these switches, although I can not say the same for other people around me when I'm using this keyboard. Pun destined! This keyboard fits into the TT ecosystem, since the lighting effect can be synchronized and coordinated with other Thermaltake RGB products, such as RGB / iRGB power supplies, RGB peripherals, fans, etc., as long as all these products have the TT RGB Sync logo. The X1 RGB uses CHERRY MX switches with built-in gold cross-point contacts, gold-plated contact closures and pressure-resistant metal alloy springs for the most precise and precise touch for every touch. The switches are also classified with a life of 50 million pulses for greater durability. The X1 RGB Blue switch provides a crystalline click pressure point highlighted by an audible click for tactile and precise key operations. The Cherry MX Blue TT Premium X1 RGB Keyboard features an aluminum overlay design with Cherry MX Blue switches to ensure users enjoy exceptional performance while playing. The keys have a suspended floating design that makes RGB color lighting is a show on this keyboard, the keyboard has a simple design, it has a dimension of 464.98 × 170.52 × 40.39mm (LxWxH). It comes in the black color, which is a fingerprint magnet, so have it into account. The Cherry MX Blue switches are rated for 50M clicks. The USB step has been around for some time and this keyboard also features the step of USB, but Thermaltake has taken the concept to the next level by introducing the Audio Jack step, which can ease the problem of the short cable of the headphones depending on the situation. The keyboard has a double height adjustment mechanism, as well as a removable magnetic pad. The overall finish is industrial in terms of appearance. The use of an aluminum body guarantees maximum strength and robustness to the design element and adds a subtle touch. This keyboard has 4 Mb of internal memory to store the user-defined settings. Therefore, users have the peace of mind of having to bring the keyboard to LAN games or to such events. The polling rate is 1000Hz on it. Of course, the main point of sale here is the 16.8M RGB color lighting on this keyboard that looks great in person. The keyboard has a white diffuser plate built on the PCB that intercepts the switches and the PCB. This is done for better color illumination over the entire length of the keyboard. Note that the diffuser is only visible when the keys are located, since the rest of the area is covered with an upper aluminum plate. The keyboard has N-Key roll over anti-ghosting and there are no macro keys on it. Our MX MX RGB TT Premium X1 Blue Keyboard sample is using the UK design. I'm not sure what other designs are available for this keyboard.
Let's start with the numeric keypad. We have a full-size numeric keypad on this keyboard with a US design. The key caps are thin and made of ABS material. The Num Lock key has a lock symbol. Some keys have double marks, which means that in addition to the normal function of the key, additional functions can be activated by combining the Shift key and the corresponding key on the numeric keypad.
This keyboard has dedicated multimedia keys. The row of buttons at the top of the numeric keypad has Stop, Previous, Play / Pause and Next track keys with corresponding actions. The top row has a volume control with some fine grip. Increase / decrease the volume with a count of 2. There is a mute button on its right side with an alternating effect. Pressing it once will mute the sound and pressing it again will deactivate the sound.
The bottom of the keyboard, just before the numeric keypad has 4 standard arrow keys for navigation. The image above clearly shows the white diffuser plate just below the keys.
There are three rows of keys at the top of the navigation arrow keys. The top row has three buttons. We have a Print screen key on the left side followed by the Scroll Lock key and the Pause Break key. These keys also have double functionality. The second functionality of these keys can be activated using a combination of Fn keys and any of these keys. We will show the functions in the following table of functions.
The following is a group of 6 keys in two rows. We have the keys Insert, Start, PgUp (Page Up) in the first row and Delete, End, PgDn (Page Down) in the second row. These keys also have double functions. There are 6 predefined color profiles on this keyboard, each with a custom lighting effect that can be further customized in the X1 RGB software.
There is a cutout on the top left of the keyboard in the form of the TT logo. The white diffuser plate can also be seen below, which clearly indicates that this logo also lights up. The logo is on the Escape key. The Esc key also has dual functionality. Load the factory settings of the keyboard for which the key combination Fn and Esc will be used.
The image above shows the lighting effect on the TT logo. This looks like that drug in person. The attention to detail is immaculate.
The upper row of the keyboard are the standard function keys that start from the F1 key and go to the F12 key. All these keys have a dual functionality for which the combination of the Fn key with the function keys is needed. The keys are organized in a group of 4 per row.
The main section of the keyboard has a standard design. We have the Esc key in the upper left row followed by the function keys from F1 to F12 grouped into 4 keys per column, as mentioned above. The backspace and the Enter keys are identical, except that the Enter key has a little more length. Some people prefer the larger size of the Enter key and may not find this implementation convenient, so choose the type of keyboard layout carefully before buying one. We have the Windows key on the left side of the space bar, while the function key and the Properties key are on the right side. The main section of the keyboard does not have any keys that require a combination with the Fn key.
Let's see what combinations of keys have an effect on the form and function of the keyboard.

Now that we've analyzed the keyboard layout, let's look at its switches. TT Premium X1 RGB Cherry MX Blue Keyboard features Cherry MX RGB Blue switches. These switches have an operating point of 2.2 ± 0.6 mm, a stroke of 4 to 0.5 mm, with an actuation force of 50 g with tactile feedback and a click sound.
The keyboard has an aluminum plate on top. The keyboard frame is made of an aluminum material, although it seems to be a polished sand finish, not a brushed aluminum. There is a translucent white diffuser that rests between the aluminum top plate and the real PCB. The switches are suspended in that diffuser. This reminds me of the strafe K70 keyboard of the corsair. The keys are suspended in a floating design and there is more height between the keys and the aluminum plate, which makes the lighting effect offer intense images without uneven diffusion of light. Tt eSPORTS has definitely delivered a pretty solid design here. The aluminum upper plate on the MX MX RGB TT Premium Blue Keyboard extends over the sides and has a rounded finish that synchronizes well with the overall symmetry of the design.
Looking at the front of the TT Premium X1 RGB Cherry MX Blue Keyboard, we have a USB port followed by the audio port. Both were found working perfectly. The port and cable side protrude from the rest of the surface.
TT Premium X1 RGB Cherry MX Blue Keyboard has a thick braided cable measuring 1.8m in length. It has three wires on the termination end. All have gold-plated contact points. One is the main keyboard cable, another is for the USB pass-through functionality and the third is the audio connector's pass-through cable. The connectors have a premium TT logo on one end.
The TT MX MX RGB Cherry Premium Blue Keyboard has a removable magnetic wrist pad. It has a solid structure and removing it is very easy. It has 5 rubber padding on the back to avoid scratching the surface where the keyboard will be placed.
Let's take a look at the back of the MX MX Blue Keyboard of the Prima TT 1. There is a sticker stuck in the middle. It has printed the model of the keyboard and TT Thermaltake. The keyboard has 5V DC and 1A maximum. The bottom side has three rubber fillings to prevent scratching on the surface. Similarly, the upper part has two such fillings. The fund has two cuts. This is where the wrist rest slides towards
There are two surface lifters on the top to raise the front of the MX MX RGB TT Premium X1 Blue Keyboard for convenient writing and gaming for an extended period of time. Thermaltake has an intelligent implementation here since the surface elevators have a two-step design that allows users to raise the height of the keyboard in two steps as shown in the images above. TT Premium X1 RGB Cherry MX Blue Keyboard uses the N-Key reset with a sounding rate of 1000 Hz.
Thermaltake has included 8 red keys with TT Premium X1 RGB Cherry MX Blue Keyboard to customize the keyboard should be desired by the user.
Now that we've analyzed the key elements of the MX MX RGB TT Premium X1 Blue Keyboard, it's time to take a look at the stellar feature of this keyboard, which is by key backlighting of up to 16.8 million colors RGB and with 10 predefined color effects. To control the lighting effect on this keyboard, the user has two options. Use the combination of the Fn and F9-F12 keys, Scroll Lock, Pause, Ins, Start, PgUp, Del, End, PgDn or use the simple and easy-to-use software / mobile application called X1 RGB provided by Thermaltake.
The following color settings are available:
- Rainbow Wave
- Rainbow spiral
- Spectrum cycle
- Ripple Raindrops
- ] Snake Marquee
- Sound Control
- System Temperature
The user has the option to turn off all LED lights, although I do not see why he would deprive himself of an implementation of lighting so awesome. This is not like this.
Thermaltake has also defined a preconfigured color scheme for the particular game style. These are: –
Each of these presets has its lighting colors and lighting effects. Here are some photos for your visual pleasure.
Take control of your colors and synchronize them perfectly with all power supply and liquid cooling solutions compatible with Thermaltake TT X1 RGB – PSU iRGB, Riing Plus, Pacific W4 Plus CPU Water block, Pacific RL360 Plus RGB Radiator, Floe Riing RGB 360, Pacific Lumi Plus LED Strip: for maximum coordination and personalization of color. For this ecosystem to work, Thermaltake has provided the user with an intuitive software called X1 RGB. Not only is the desktop version available, but also the mobile version, which is compatible with iOS and Android. The mobile application can be downloaded from the respective stores. Please note that the product lines compatible with TT X1 RGB Sync will be automatically synchronized with the X1 RGB game software and do not require manual configuration. Let's see the desktop version of the software.
The X1 RGB can be downloaded from the Thermaltake website. Initially, the software will detect the connected Thermaltake compatible devices and check your firmware version. I have a complaint from the beginning. The keyboard had an older firmware version and the software only offered me two options that were to update the firmware or exit the application, since clicking later would not take me anywhere. Why? It was a forced update that I had to take.
Once the firmware was updated; I was introduced to the plethora of customization and control options for the keyboard. The interface is nothing new. The logo and brand name of Thermaltake premium are printed on the top right below the set of action buttons. The first button on the upper right side is the keyboard reset button that would load the factory settings. The R button will take you to the website of the customer service portal. The ? button will take you to the help center on your website. The X button will close the application. The control button will load the configuration window of the application as shown in the image below. The keyboard model is mentioned between the left and right side buttons at the top.
The left side has two main options at the top; Keyboard and macros. By default, the keyboard option is selected. As I mentioned earlier, this keyboard comes with the 6 user profiles, these are listed in the keyboard option sequentially. Under each profile we have two options; Personalization and lighting. By default, the Custom option is selected and other options are available to the user. The user can change the name of the profile, export / import the configuration of the profile and, above all, define the action of each individual key.
Clicking on Lighting will load the settings related to the lighting, which are extensive. At the top, there is a keyboard image that will dynamically display the lighting effect currently applied. Clicking on the Effect drop-down box will show all lighting effects compatible with this keyboard.
The images above show all the lighting effects listed and supported on this keyboard. We have already listed them in the RGB Lighting section.
If you're wondering where the true Rainbow mode is for this keyboard, something is missing in this aspect. There are predefined patterns that you can access as shown in the image above. Select Wave Lighting Effect in the Effect drop-down list and then use the Pattern drop-down list to select the pattern of your choice. One good thing is that you can define your own pattern, as well as delete the selected one. You can set the direction of the lighting flow in any of the four directions (up, down, left, right). You can control the speed of the lighting flow, which is only applicable to dynamic effects. You can also control the brightness of light in 5 discrete steps. You can activate / deactivate the TT RGB Sync option if you use more than one device that supports TT RGB. Colors can be defined using the RGB values or the hexadecimal code or from the color palette.
Clicking on Macros above will load a new interface with many options for users to create, modify and delete the macros.
Now that we've taken a look at the desktop application, it's time to take a look at the mobile version of the application with more options like Voice Control, etc. In order for your mobile device to detect a device compatible with RGB TT, both devices must be in the same network; otherwise, the mobile application could not detect the device.
Click on the Re-scan button in case the application does not detect the device. connected device as the application is programmed to scan the network looking for compatible devices at startup.
A successful scan will display a list of the PC that has a compatible device. Touch the device to continue.
By default, the application will take you to the lighting area and you will be asked to select the lighting effect and the pattern. The patterns in the lighting format are not available in the application, but only in the number format that goes from 1 to number 6. This is definitely not a useful implementation, since a visual aid is missing to select the format.
The image above shows the lighting control function of the mobile application. The user can use almost any function provided by the desktop application.
The image above shows the control menu of the mobile application. The user has the following options:
- Virtual Controller
- Voice Control
- Virtual Keyboard
- Session Logout
The virtual keyboard let the user interact with the PC using the remote keyboard function.
SyncAll, Say Hello TT is the slogan of Thermaltake when it comes to its premium TT devices and their features. The user can control the lighting functions of the keyboard by voice commands.
The above image lists the available voice commands that the user can use to control the lighting effects of the keyboard using the voice control function of the mobile application.
Do you want to play a game using the controller without really having a physical controller? Do not worry, because the Thermaltake X1 RGB mobile application will allow you to do just that. Sounds like fun! Of course. Try it to have fun in the games.
Click on any + symbol to create user-defined macros using the mobile application.

He tenido algunos problemas al principio.
