Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth – Review
The Austin Powers of Persona
The story of Persona Q2 begins with the hero band of Persona 5 which finds itself sucked into a parallel world represented by a magic cinema. Some members are then sent into parallel realities. Each of these worlds is a parody of a cinematographic genre (superhero, space opera, …),. The narration is a little less present than in a classic Persona and it is mainly there to bring moments of relaxation / humor between two phases of action.

As beautiful as rich and difficult
On the gameplay side, in Persona Q2 we have to explore the different worlds that are in the form of dungeons with turn-based tactical combat. Attention must integrate the leak / dodge in its strategy because one can face the opponents overpowering. Unlike a classic Persona exploration is put forward with many traps, surprises and loot to recover. We must gauge the risk of continuing a dungeon or going out to sell the items we have recovered. Combat side it is necessary to manage the positioning of its characters for the defensive aspect and to make the best use of the capacities of their personas according to the weaknesses of the enemies. The game offers a real challenge, it will be persevering to overcome.
Visually Persona Q2 is very beautiful for a 3DS game, special mention to its artistic direction. In the same way the music and the dubbing are excellent. Attention, however, the game is only in Japanese with English subtitles.
A beautiful ending for the 3DS
Persona Q2 is an excellent RPG for any owner of a 3DS. His humor and his tough gameplay will delight the most gamers of you. The 3DS is clearly at the end of life, it is one of the last good games to put in the tooth.
