New OnePlus Phone With Huge Circular Camera Cutout Leaks

New OnePlus Phone With Huge Circular Camera Cutout Leaks

OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to be officially presented later this year. And although we have been reflecting on the changes that OnePlus will debut on its next premium flagship, a new OnePlus smartphone with a great design change has appeared online.

Thanks to the well-known Evan Blass filter, we have taken a look at the new design of a OnePlus smartphone, something that has not been launched or mocked to date. Blass now has shared a trio of renders, all with a circular camera bump but with a different type of padding for the cameras in each. There is no information on what the fillings mean, but the renderings corroborate an earlier leak, which showed this design months ago.

If you think the rendering filtered with the camera's circular crop seems familiar, well, you're not the only one. The popular informant Ishan Agarwal had tweeted this redesign at the beginning of last year, even before the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The published photo appeared to be from a closed meeting, where you can see the new design shown in the presentation. But you can also see the prototype with this circular camera in the hands of CEO Pete Lau.

At the time we assumed it was going to be the highly anticipated OnePlus 7 Pro, but that didn't turn out to be true. OnePlus 7 Pro was launched with a vertical camera strip and pop-up selfie camera module. However, if the circular design of the camera has resurfaced, that of Blass too, then we can expect the OnePlus 7T to present a new camera design.

However, we have no information about the sensor that will be integrated into the circular cutout of the camera. The previous leak showed a horizontal line that crosses the center of this bulge of the camera, housing the flash, but it seems to be missing in the renders that have appeared online today.

It is rumored that OnePlus 7T will be presented in India on September 26, along with the rumored OnePlus TV. Numerous details for OnePlus TV also began to appear online, and the company itself confirmed a number of features and specifications before the official launch.
