According to a new report, the software giant Microsoft could introduce a mini Xbox with a price of around $ 60, especially for its xCloud Project.
The Microsoft xCloud project is a vision for the game transmission technology that was introduced in October last year to complement Microsoft's console hardware and offer players more options on how and where they play.
When it comes to the so-called mini Xbox, the small box is said to be designed to make it easier for users to connect their Xbox controller to televisions and offer minimal processing power, technology website MSPoweruser reported Thursday.
According to the report, the box would take care of navigation in a 3D environment. However, it would not deal with the rendering, textures and all the processor intensive work involved in playing a modern game. Therefore, it would probably cost only about $ 60 without a controller.
Microsoft has not yet officially announced anything about the device. Details about other device specifications remain unknown.
