Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ will be released in India on August 20 . Today, the company began sending press invitations for the launch event to be held at the Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. IST and will be broadcast live on the company's official YouTube channels, as well as on its English and Hindi websites.
Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are expected to go on sale in India starting August 23. While the Note 10 has a price that starts at Rs. 69,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model, the Note 10+ starts at Rs. 79,999 for the 12GB version of RAM and 256GB. Launch offers include a refund of Rs. 6,000 when using HDFC credit / debit cards in physical stores and ICICI credit / debit cards in Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall and Tata Cliq.
Note 10 and Note 10+ were released earlier this month in New York, largely thanks to positive reviews from the media. The devices have also received praise from DXOMark for their images, as well as from DisplayMate for its Dynamic AMOLED display. However, while their designs, screens, cameras and other features have received praise from most observers, some have expressed disappointment at having abandoned the 3.5mm audio jack, apparently, to increase battery capacity in about 100 mAh.
As an update, the Galaxy Note 10 features a 6.3-inch Full HD + Dynamic Infinity-O dynamic display, while the Note 10+ comes with a huge 6.8-inch QHD + panel of the same description. Both work with Exynos 9825 or Snapdragon 855, depending on the region and the operator. However, while the standard Note 10 has a triple rear camera set on the back, the larger model accommodates a four-camera module, and the additional sensor is described as a "DepthVision camera."
