Electronic Arts Will Return To Steam And Offer EA Access

Electronic Arts suggested that the game could be returned to Steam a few days ago. A few days later Company finally confirmed New distribution agreement with Valve. This makes Electronic Arts games available again on Steam. The company also brings great surprises to PC platform users and valve platform users.

Part of the agreement is that Electronic Arts subscription service EA Access will now also be available via Steam.

Electronic Arts and Valve partnered to bring EA games to players on Steam. Starting next spring, EA Access (our subscription service powered by great games and membership benefits) will head to Steam. EA Access is the first and only game subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform with EA subscriptions.

The subscription service will arrive on the valve platform sometime next spring. The company contract will soon begin with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Steam, a platform that can be launched soon. Electronic Arts reported that other games such as The Sims 4 and Unravel Two will also join Steam in the coming months.

In 2020, platform users will have access to Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield V. The better news is that Steam and Origin players can play together. EA Access will reward not just Steam, i.e. a massive game catalog, but all subscribed players.

In other news, Electronic Arts is one of the largest publishers in the video game industry and is working on several projects. If you're interested in knowing what some of them are, I'm glad to know that in a recent presentation with investors, the company has announced plans for the next few years.

Electronic Arts said in a conversation with investors that the studio is playing a new game. More specifically, EA Motive Studios is developing a new IP. There is a new “project” coming from DICE. That's not all because the BioWare, Maxis, and Criterion teams are also making new games.

Unfortunately, the company did not specify how long to wait for these games. It's not all that the retailer is preparing for a new mobile game and is planning to support a new independent project or another company. Finally, they said they are planning a new franchise for the EA Sports product line.

In the announcement, EA is also preparing a new battlefield, but it won't arrive until next year. The company also canceled the next NBA live, but everything indicates that the series will reappear on next generation consoles.
