Antec sent us their EAG Pro 650W PSU for review. It is a semi-modular power supply that covers the mid-range market. It has a full-bridge LLC design of server class with synchronous rectification. It comes with the fulfillment of the ERP Lot 6 certification. It is built with APFC technology that improves the reliability and performance of the product. By being compatible with Erp Lot 6 and CE, you can reduce utility costs by saving energy. Since we do not have adequate test equipment at this time; We will give you a general description of the PSU and the details of the PCB and the circuits used in this PSU. This power supply has a single + 12V rail for stable power. It has a 120 mm fan for silent cooling.

Eath Watts Gold Pro 650W is printed on the bottom. The unit is 80 Plus Gold certified. It's Intel Haswell ready. The unit is designed by Antec in California. It is a modular power supply (Semi) ATX.

In addition to taking stable voltages into account, the current requirements also change with the operating time: they are driven by the load connected in the output stage of the power supply. But the consideration of the parameters not only ends in the requirements of voltage and current, but extends to characteristics such as the harmonic factor, cross-charge regulation, noise resistance and other safety parameters, including OVP surge protection and protection against OCP overcurrents, etc. to guarantee optimization and standardized power supply for PC.
Reliability, stability and continuous power supply are the characteristics cited by Antec for its competitive Earthwatt product line, ie 650W Gold Pro. What makes the power supplies ensure that the features mentioned above are will show in later paragraphs. The attached image contains a large diameter filter capacitor. It is connected after the full-wave rectifier bridge of the heat sink. The sinusoidal DC voltage of the rectifier filters through this tolerance capacitor of 105 ºC of good quality of the Nippon Chemi-Con corporation. The white silicon transistors that form the full-wave bridge for the LLC circuit can be seen in the background with a large black heat sink.
The most differentiating feature of this power supply is its resonant circuit of LLC-based topology energy conversion. It achieves its efficiency to operate on the resonant frequency of the LLC circuit (Inductor – Inductor-capacitor) and the zero switching losses. Finally, reaching its secondary side, it is equipped with a synchronous rectification stage, Power Supervisor ic WT7527 together with capacitors manufactured by Taepon for filtering. The different voltage 3.3 V, 5V, 12 V, -12V is branching from this stage to send a PCB with Molex connectors (SATA, VGA and Peripherals) and direct black cables for the exciting 24-pin motherboard and CPU connectors 2 × 4 pins. 
After passing through the building blocks projecting from the power supplies, it is clear that Antec has harbored all those characteristics by which a power supply becomes reliable, robust and efficient.
Tests  As we do not have the right equipment to measure the performance of the PSU, particularly its waveforms to determine the true performance potential, we used Thermaltake Dr. Power II to test the sample unit.
